Who is a blessed person?

This verse says if we believe on Jesus we will have persecution in our lives. It is crucial for us to understand that being rejected does not diminish our worth, rather our dedication to Christ. When we believer choose Him to follow, we have a great mission. Because of that mission, we will be hated, mock and persecuted by the unbelievers. Jesus wants to say that those who stand steadfast in the midst of their troubles, in fact they are called blessed. This blessing is not demonstrated by happiness, but it is to be denoting our faithfulness towards God and His Kingdom.

Dear brothers and sisters,

When you face difficulties in your lives after you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord, trust on the Lord and be faithful to Him and finally you will be called blessed by God.

It teaches us that difficulties we face during our journey of faith can, and often do, contribute to our spiritual growth.
